Nameplate vs Sustained Draw

Manufacturer spec sheets list maximum draw. Sustained operation in warm intake conditions often runs 8–12% higher. We bench units when samples exist and apply a correction factor when they do not.

Inrush During Sequential Boot

Staggered power-up reduces simultaneous inrush. For rows above eight units, we recommend sequenced PDU outlets with a documented boot order in the assessment report.

Phase Balance

Single-phase rooms in older Songpa buildings may have uneven loading across legs. Circuit mapping includes a phase balance note for the electrician, not just total amp availability.

Panel Upgrade Triggers

We recommend sub-panel installation when planned row draw exceeds 80% of sustained panel capacity after correction factors. Waiting until after hardware delivery costs more in emergency electrician fees.
